THE hockey season for the Mount House girls reached a stunning climax with the U11s crowning an unbeaten season by winning the In2 Hockey Devon U11s Championships, and the first seven winning silver in the U13s Devon Cup competition at Blundell's School, Tiverton.

The In2 Hockey U11s championship was played as a round-robin tournament. Mount House beat Maynard 1-0, Exeter School 4-0 and Blundell's 1-0.

The team will represent the county in the regional champion-ships at Millfield next year. The 11s end the season as Queen's Tourn-ament Champions, Exeter Tournament runners-up and Devon Schools Champions, as well as being unbeaten in regular fixtures.

Ten schools played in the U13s Devon Cup competition, and in their pool of five, Mount House drew 0-0 with Exeter School, before beating Blundell's 4-0, Maynard 7-0 and Exmouth College 2-0.

In the semi-final against St Peter's they won 5-1, with all five being scored by Becky Manton. However in the final against Blundell's they lost 4-0 to take the silver.

Mount House U13A beat Kelly College convincingly 11-1 while the B team dominated their match away at Kelly to run out 5-1 victors.
