ODDICOMBE beach in South Devon played host to this years Devon open water champion-ships, with Mary Tavy's Cameron Carpenter-Warren winning the senior men's three kilometre race.

He was chased all the way by the senior ladies winner, Plymouth Leanders' Rebecca Boulden.

Cameron's mum Yvonne also competed in the senior ladies' race and finished third, helping their club Exmouth, also win the team trophy.
