A WEST Devon personal trainer has seen his hard work and enthusiasm for improving peoples' lives rewarded as he was presented with the award for Most Innovative Fitness Entrepreneur 2012.
Matt Luxton, from Lifton and a former Kelly College student, was shortlisted for the award and deemed the worthy winner thanks to his originality in designing the Equestrian Athlete Plan (EAP) and his recent barn conversion into a top-spec personal training studio.
The awards ceremony was the culmination of a weekend of seminars attended by the top fitness professionals from around the world and guest speakers, including Matt's mentor, Dax Moy, a body transformation coach.
Matt was rewarded for his innovation with the EAP and his personal training business that has enabled his clients to achieve growing success, in geographical locations far wider than his West Devon base. His training systems and nutritional systems are being utilised world wide as far as Australia and the USA with great success.
Matt said that none of this would have been possible without the commitment of his clients: 'Without their full commitment to the results driven system that I have put in place, I would not be getting the results that I have been, so a massive thank you must be made to them.'
Matt also expressed thanks to Dax Moy and Paul Mort, a UK fat loss expert, for their persistent and continuing mentoring.
Matt said: 'No one can underestimate the power of having a good team around you and I am no different. I always tell my clients to surround themselves with positive people. I am no different to them and having the leading faces in the fitness and health industry mentoring me has given me the best opportunity to live my purpose each and every day.
Matt's self defined purpose is to live his passion and share his knowledge. This manifests itself on a daily basis with the Blast Fitness Camps.
Matt is looking forward to his next big project, 'The Fad Free Fat Loss Formula', which will be published and available in hard copy from Amazon by September 2012.
