CON B picked up only their second win of the season in style with a 5–0 thumping of neighbours and bottom of the table Con C.

The C team's Hoare put up a feisty performance but it was the B Team's McKechnie that prevailed. Ewings was made to work hard for his eventual win over a tenacious Angie Ward.

The three came for the B Team by virtue of a tight game with Lillicrap coming from behind to nip Jago to the post. Mark Evans made it four for the B Team with a bit of a 'walk in the park' over a jaded looking Wilkinson, with a nice 21 break along the way.

With only pride to play for it was no surprise that the C Team's Bassett was up against it as Andrews hit some good form for the first time this season to take the frame in comfort.
