AUGUST will be an important month for Tavistock Golf Club ladies when they compete in the Still Cup semi-finals at Honiton and in the quarter finals of the Shelagh Creasy Cup at Teign Valley.

Both teams have played excellent and exciting golf throughout these county knockouts and are hopeful that their winning streak will continue.

In the mens' medal and captain's prize Stuart Allan, was first in division one, and won the prize with a nett 68.  Second was Alan Greening nett 71 on countback from Dave Burge and Ian Osborne.

In division two Julian Collinson had a nett 71, second Barry Tillyer nett 73, and third was Chris Dicker with nett 74 on countback from Pete Anglis and John Williams.
