THE annual primary hockey tournament organised by sports coach Di Stanbury took place at the multi-use games area in Launceston last week.

Children from Lifton, North Petherwin/ Werrington, St Giles and Boyton took part and all gained experience and enjoyment in representing their schools. The overall winners were Lifton, who won in both age groups.

The schools thanked umpires, parents, staff and Launceston College in supporting this event and especially organiser Di Stanbury.
