KELLY College Swim squad sent 39 swimmers to take part in the Aquae Sulis Grand Prix held at the new 50m pool, Hengrove Leisure Centre in Bristol.

For some this was their first time competing in a 50m pool and for others it was their first visit to these new facilities.

Kelly College swimmers did extremely well and came home with 16 college age group records. 14 gold medals, 10 silver, 19 bronze and 126 personal best times.

Kelly age group records were achieved by: Georgia Martin, Aimee Davies, Cara Layden, Milly Furneaux (3), Stephanie Reynolds, Bethan Davie, Thomas Brew(3), Taku Chaza (3) and Robbie Nielsen (2). Gold Medallists: Taku Chaza (6), Matthew Courtis, Milly Furneaux (2), Nathan Linden, Georgia Martin, Thomas McLagan (2), Leah Picillo.
