TAVISTOCK junior triathlete Pete Jarman was in action again at the second event of the Exeter Aquathlon series. 

The aquathlon which was held at Sidmouth saw nearly 100 competitors taking part in the race, which consisted of a 600m swim followed by a 5k run through the town. 

Pete finished the race in a time of 28 minutes 07 seconds (swim 8mins 20secs, run 19mins 47secs) an improvement of more than 30 seconds from the first aquathlon of the series at Dawlish.

Pete was the fifth adult male to finish the event and was the winner of the male youth (15-16) category.

Pete, 15, is a pupil of Tavistock College, he trains with Tavistock Athletic Club and Tavistock Swim Club.
