TAVISTOCK Squash and Racketball Club held its monthly club night competition on Monday, July 9.

This was a racketball team event with four teams of three trying to secure as many points for their team as they could.

The event was won by Sylvia McIntosh, Patrick Powell and Simon Powell in a close completion with only a few points separating the top three positions. Paddy Kerr, Dave Large and Patrick Powell all scored maximum points for their team, but there were lots of close games and in the end it all came down to the score in the last game. Next month's competition will be the Quarterly Squash Tournament.
