THERE'S a fantastic opportunity for young people in the West Devon area to enjoy a day's hockey coaching this Easter, at special camps being organised by Tavistock Hockey Club in partnership with Kelly College.

The camp, run by qualified coaches, will provide both primary and secondary school age children with an opportunity to play hockey in a safe and fun environment during the school holidays. There may also be an opportunity to swim too, so don't forget your swimming kit and towel!

The camps are being held at Kelly Astro pitch on Tuesday, April 15 for children in years 4, 5 and 6, and on Wednesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 17 for students in years 7 to 11. All camps start at 10am and run until 4pm.

Hockey sticks can be provided, but shin pads are compulsory and gumshields are strongly recommended.

The camps cost just £12 per day, to include a camp T-shirt.
