BERE Alston Trekkers’ head coach Laurence Sargent and his wife Mary, did the BATS proud when they participated in the OMM Lite last weekend.

The OMM Lite, which this year was in the Peak District, is a two day mountain marathon. It is open for teams of two for five hours on Saturday and four hours on Sunday during which time runners have to plan and self navigate their own route to take in as many checkpoints as possible in order to maximise their points. Laurence and Mary did spectacularly, coming 30th overall and second in the mixed veteran category.
