OKEHAMPTON Rugby Club are on the ball when it comes to raising funds.

At the recent home game against Exeter University Western Counties West league club started a new method for sponsorship.

For each first XV home game an individual or firm will be invited to sponsor the match ball for £40 and will be photographed presenting a brand new ball to the club representative just before the kick off.

To kick things off the first sponsor was Andy Nash of A J Nash, Builders and the club thanked him for his generous sponsorship. Andy is pictured with club representative Ross Medlyn.
