YOUNG Harry Western, recently played in the Wee Wonders golf event at Farrington Golf Club. The Yelverton Golf Club junior player shot 35 gross for nine holes on the par three course. He is eight years-old and has now qualified for St Andrews in August in the 'Wee Wonders' grand final. He has only been playing for about 18 months and has been having lessons at Yelverton with Adam Frayne. Steven West, Yelverton Golf Club's secretary: 'It is great that one so young thoroughly loves his golf and is often up here practising with the other juniors.'
