AT the Disability Sport England (DSE) National Junior and Youth Championships held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield, Kelly College's IPC world champion Hannah Russell smashed her own world record.

Hannah, aged 17, broke the existing record in the S12 100m Backstroke, clocking a time of 1 minute 05.78 seconds. It smashed the previous world marker by over one second.

Hannah then went on to break her own British record in the S12 100m IM, posting a time of 1.08.90. 

Hannah's next competition will be the Devon County ASA Championships to be held at Plymouth Life Centre this weekend.
