KELLY College's U14s netball team travelled to The Life Centre in Plymouth last week to compete in the end of season Plymouth Schools' Netball tournament.

They emerged as runaway winners, adding to an already impressive season.

In total, six teams were taking part in the tournament. Kelly played five games, each of two six minute halves, and showed some real class on the court.

Solid defence provided by Daisy Trewartha-Wyatt, Beth Wheldon and Katherine Hawley meant that in 60 minutes of play, the team conceded only three goals.

Overall, Kelly took the gold in convincing style, winning all five of their matches.

n KELLY College's U13 A and B netball teams finished their season on a high last week, with wins against both Mount House and Stover.

The A team drew 13-13 all while the B team won 22-7. Away to Stover the A team dominated from the start with excellent passes around the centre of the court from Olivia Banks and Ellie Sellers.

They linked well together and fed some lovely passes into Alice Jones and Ellen Phillips-Crowther. The match ended in a well-earned 22-3 win to Kelly.

The B team, thanks to sharp shootng by Caitlin McCabe and Beth Bourne, won 26-2.
