THE Aquae Sulis Grand Prix at Hengrove, Bristol was the destination for seven members of Tavistock Swimming Club.
This level one long-course meet was over-subscribed, so produced great competition for the swimmers who competed in 31 events and achieved 19 personal best times.
There were three top 10 positions, including Kieran Rookes' fifth in the 100m breaststroke and fourth in 50m breaststroke, which at this level is a great result! James Anderson gained a top 10 finish in his 200m butterfly.
Emily France, Jake France and Kieran Rookes achieved personal best times in all their events, which was a superb achievement.
The other TSC members competing - James Anderson, Amber Francis, Cameron McGurk and Sarah Teague - produced a number of personal best times or times close to their personal bests.
Head coach James Lake said: 'The swimmers were excellent, stepping up to this top level makes them dig deep and have a positive attitude, which they showed.'
