THE annual inter-club dinghy event enjoyed excellent weather for the sailing and barbecue on the beach at Weir Quay. Organisers lost count of the total but at least 80 boats pulled up on the foreshore after a brisk sail from the Cornish shore. The event involved various clubs including Cargreen and Weir Quay Sailing Clubs, The event made a total of £430 for dinghy funds with the visitors thoroughly enjoyed themselves —both in and out of the water — and the superb weather really did make for a glorious evening as the lovely picture attest.
