OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held an individual Stableford competition on Saturday and the winner of division one was Jon Jamison with 38 points after countback on the back nine makng Colin Cornwall in second. Adrian Tilley was third with 37pts.

Ricky Wooldridge was the winner of division two with 39pts Simon James was second with 38pts, followed into third by Bryan Evans with 35pts just beating Matt Scott-Tucker on the back nine.

Division three was won by Dennis Edwards with 40pts, Rod Jones was second with 39pts after countback from, in third David Stallion.

The ladies’ section also played an individual stableford competition this week and the winner of the silver division was Francis Harbron with 32pts, Cherry James was second with 29pts and Sue Stanbury was third with 28pts.

Sylvie Gowers was the winner of the bronze division with 33pts, Pam Jarman was second with 29pts with a better back nine placing Mary Keir in third also with 29pts.
