AT last the season got underway at Tavistock Golf Club.  In the men’s monthly medal Rob Lovell had a nett 68 to top the first division; second with a nett 69 Duwain Cottingham and in third place Graham Ruth with a nett 70. 

Viv Wilton was first in division two with a nett 71 on count back from Rob Milligan and John McGahey.  Andy Down was fourth with a nett 73 on count back from Paul Vickers.  

In the men’s Stableford John Hirst was first in division one with 40 points, second Rob Jarman 36pts and third Chris Morley 35pts.  Lewis Reid with 37 pts was first in division two; second Clive Coate 36pts and in third place Paul Whitby 33pts.

In the ladies’ monthly medal first in division one Sara Hanson with an excellent nett 73; second Belinda McSherry nett 76, third with nett 78 Sarah Woock. With a nett 81 Margaret Smith was first in division two on count back from Janet Kiely while third was Carolyn Crawford with nett 82.
