OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held an individual medal competition on Saturday, March 19, with some excellent scores.

Division one was won by Keith Harkness with gross 73 nett 66. Chris Pike took second position with nett 67 after countback from in third Kevin Cornwall.

The top three players in division two all attained nett 61and after count back Paul Rogers was awarded first place, Matt Flavin was second and Steven Robinson was third. Likewise division three also had the top three competitors achieving the same score of nett 69, again after count back Rob Green was first, Brian May second and John Haley third.

The ladies’ section held an individual stableford competition and the winner of the silver division was Cherry James with 32 points on the back nine from, in second Marcia Jones also with 32 points.

Francis Harbron came third with 28 points. The bronze division was won by Mary Keir with 33 points, Maggie Caws was second with 31 points followed into third by Janice Thwaites with 27 points.
