OKEHAMPTON Hockey Club are holding fun and informal session for ladies who do not want to play competitive hockey.

These 'Back to hockey' sessions starting on Monday from 8pm to 9pm at the Okehampton College's all weather pitch. A|l ladies are welcome to come along and have a go.  Sticks are provided but shin pads are advised.  The sessions cost £2. For more details call Jane Jones on 01837 810167

It's junior hockey time again in Okehampton. On Saturday mornings there are sessions on the all-weather pitch; starting tomorrow, boys and girls in school years 5, 6 and 7 at 9.30am or for years 8, 9 or 10 come along at 10.30am.

The hour long sessions will include some skills work and games.

The club has entered U12 teams  in the Devon leagues and U14 teams in the EH Developing league to give the young players something to work towards. All the sessions are run by level two coaches and players of all abilities are welcome.
