CHILDREN from West Devon are among those from across Devon who are set to take part in the Autumn Ability Games.

More than 200 youngsters with disabilities will come together at the Tarka Tennis Centre in Barnstaple on Wednesday, October 17 from 9.45am to 2.30pm for a paralympic style celebration of sport.

Along with the many sports on offer, the children have the opportunity to take part in the opening and closing ceremony. Children will be competing at rowing, football, tennis and cycling and will represent schools from across the whole county. They will also have the opportunity to try a range of sports such as table cricket, boccia, tri-golf, extreme golf and wheelchair sports.
