THERE'S a great chance to enjoy a spot of free fly fishing on Wednesday, August 15 at Roadford Lake.

This event is being held from 4pm to 7.30pm and will include an evening barbecue.

Fly fishing master instructor Gary Champion will be giving demonstrations of all types of fly casting followed by the opportunity to have a go yourself. Mike Weaver will also be demonstrating the art of fly tying.

The evening will be hosted by local charities the Westcountry Rivers Trust and the South West Lakes Trust, as part of National Fishing Month. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
