THREE members of Tavistock Athletic Club headed north at the weekend to take part in the Snowdon Mountain Marathon.

The course is one of the most scenic routes in the country. With stunning views in the first six miles, the route is mainly flat and fast up to mile 23, then there is a two mile climb up, and then a one mile steep drop down to Llanberis.

The weather was good with good visibility.

All three runners enjoyed the crowd support all the way round and the marshals were really good.

TAC times were as follows: Adam Holland running his third Snowdon 2 hours 58 minutes; TracyAnn Cole in her first Snowdon 4hrs 12 mins and Peter Blazley in his third Snowdon 4hrs 13 mins.
