TWO great goals in the final against Exeter City by Kier Lees and Jake Riddolls saw the Tavistock Specials Stars side win the Championship Devon Ability Counts cup.

The Stars (pictured) performance in the final was outstanding. skipper Bobby Garfield, Kier Lees, Jordan Ross, Alex Turner, Ryan Wheeler, Jake Riddolls, James Williams and Dean Reed all battled for everything and were well managed by their coaches Sean and Billy Boulton.

Head coach Will Reed fired champagne over the new champions.

‘Jake Riddolls, the original member of this team, scored off the corner at the end of their match against Exeter City.

‘His goal celebration will never leave me. They must have heard him in Tavistock.’
