FOLLOWING on from their midweek friendly clash with Plymouth Argyle, Tavistock AFC took on St Blazey in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.
The two went to battle at Langsford Park and the Lambs’ run of scoring in every game drew to a close.
It wasn’t to be for either side with chances coming and going, the final whistle confirming a cup stalemate.
As a result, they will reconvene at Blaise Park on Wednesday, August 19, with games only scheduled for 90 minutes at this stage of the tournament.
In the meantime, Steve Tully’s side will turn their attentions to the FA Vase as they visit Callington at Ginsters Parc.
Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Barnstaple Town put six past Buckland Athletic, Bovey Tracey AFC were beaten at home by Exmouth Town, Ivybridge Town hit Torpoint Athletic for four and Bridgwater United prevailed away at Liskeard Athletic.
