FOOTBALL fans will have a great chance to meet one of the professional game’s up and coming managers when Plymouth Argyle’s Derek Adams comes to visit Tavistock AFC?on Monday, February 15.
The Scotsman has attracted a lot of attention in the football world since taking Plymouth Argyle to second place in division two of the English Football League.
He took over the Pilgrims at the start of the season and since then they have climbed the league. Previously he had been in charge of Ross County and taken them to two promotions into the Scottish Premier League.
Tavistock AFC have organised a night of questions with Derek at the Red and Black Club, which starts at 7pm on the night. Admission is by ticket only.
Nigel Cross, on behalf of the club, told the Times:?‘We are hoping to make this a real fun social occasion for all to enjoy and support a great local football club.’
