CHAOS Muay Thai Okehampton travelled to Crewe for the awakenings show on Saturday — one of the biggest junior shows in the country with 19 international bouts on show. The club travelled with five fighters, two representing their country in European bouts. First in the ring was Nathan James, who came out the comfortable winner proving too strong for his opponent. Next up was Will Shaw and with his knees and low kicks scoring highly to claim all five rounds. Marie Day was next in the ring to try and win the European title against her Spanish opponent. In what was a tough fight Marie came out stronger, putting her opponent on the canvas twice in the process. Day's strength and aggression helped her claim the European title and the club's 50th. Georgia Smithers was next — Georgia hassling her opponent at every opportunity with non-stop left and right kicks to claim her first win. Sammy Jo Luxton was next fighting N-class kicks and punches to the head, against her Dutch opponent. Sammy's movement and strength proved too good and scored high in the clinch with her strong knees, to claim the European title.
