IN the Okehampton Netball League FBI beat Speedwells 46-33.

This game started with both teams evenly matched and the goals going with centres. In the second quarter FBI pulled ahead with their shooters playing some great netball.

In the third Speedwells Beth Pengelly suffered an injury and FBI took advantage to increase their lead.

The fourth quarter saw FBI continue to become more confident and maintain their lead to win by 13 goals.

In the Okehampton junior league division two tournament at Parklands five teams took part in a fast and furious competition that was played in excellent spirit. All five played some great netball with Jems winning overall.

Results: 1, Jems; 2, Illuminators; 3, Inbetweeners; 4, Pink Flamingoes and 5, Mud Pies.

The player of the tournament went to Anna Penrose from Inbetweeners. Team player of the tournament Mud Pies, Beth Frangleton; Illuminators, Flora Daniel; Jems, Millie Jones; Pink Flamingos, Chloe Roissetter.

The tournament is always played to end the season. This season has been another successful one for the junior league with a good standard of netball played by all the teams.

The league was won by Jems who have proved to be a great team and have not lost a match all season. Player of the season went to Chloe from The Inbetweeners.
