Yelverton restricted Shobrooke Park to 153-8 off their overs with Mike Chetwynd picking up four wickets and Tony Carter and skipper Chris Pearson two each.

In reply it was a close game with the winning runs being struck from the last ball of the penultimate over with Yelverton reaching the required total for the loss of five wickets. Paul Farnham (40 not out), Chris Cottrell (35) and Gerry Keen (25) were the main contributors in the Bohemians 153-5.
