BERE Alston United Football Club held its annual presentation night at the Victoria Social Club in Bere Alston.

Award winners for the 2011/2012 season: First team - most improved player, Chris Bray; leading goalscorer Jason Cordice (32 goals); team manager's player, Jason Cordice; player's player: Chris Bray.

Second team - most improved player, Darren Phillips; leading goalscorer Josh Robins (21 goals); team manager's player, Wayne Smalley; team player's player: Josh Robins.

A bouquet of flowers was presented to club treasurer Michele Taylor and there was a special award to the club's president John Simpson who has to reluctantly relinquish his position after 15 years due to his refereeing commitments with the Football Association.
