ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club a four ball better ball Stableford competition for the Winter Trophy was held.

The winners of division one and the Winter Trophy were Evan Rees and Reg Prescott with 45 points, closely followed by Malcolm Hill and Mark Wonnacott in second with 44pts. Gareth Holt and Barry Porter were third with 41pts.

Division two was won by Ashley Arscott and Tony Fisher with 43pts. Paul Rogers and Russell Bowden were second with 42 points narrowly beating Richard Johnson and Phil Hobbs on the back nine.
