BORINGDON Park Golf Club's Bob Jones won the top award at the Devon Men Veteran Golfers Association meeting at Yelverton. The 21-handicapper scored 41 Stableford points to lead home a field of 162 players from clubs throughout the county to claim the Mike Kelly Cup. Home player Eric Whyte (5) carded 40 points to win the Haarer and Motts Trophy for over 70s. Peter Anglis (17) of Tavistock was third.
