TAVISTOCK Cricket Club hosted a charity cricket match and a family fun day last month.
Although Tavistock Cricket Club won the cricket on the day the overall winners were definitely the charity.
With a cake stall, book stall, tombola and many games they managed to raise £750 for Derriford’s Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit’s (NICU) ‘Keep Me Close Appeal’. The money will go towards providing facilities for parents of sick children at the specialist unit who need to spend time there overnight.
Tavistock Cricket Club would like to thank everyone involved in making this family day such a success.
