THE year 2013 marks the twelfth tour of South Africa by the Devon Cricket Board's U15s development squad.

Devon has an excellent and growing reputation for developing young players through to the county Squad and beyond.

The 2013 tour sees Whitchurch Wayfarer's Charlie Barriball selected alongside 13 other promising players from across Devon.

In South Africa they will play six games including a couple of two day games and a day/night game. The tour will include games at Skukuza in the Kruger National Park.

Throughout the 2012 season Whitchurch Wayfarers held a number of fundraising events to help Charlie. A sum of £300 was raised to assist with the costs.

All his family and friends will be keeping a close eye on the scores during February.
