CHAGFORD got their season back on track with a well earned victory as both teams played neat and attractive football.

Most of the early chances fell to the host but their finishing was high or wide of the goal, Thorverton's goalkeeper also making some good saves. The opening goal came moments before half-time as Adam White continued his recent scoring run, coolly slotting the ball home after Chagford's best passing move of the game thus far.

Thorverton's move-ment was as good as their opponents' although they failed to trouble Paul Penberthy in the Moormen's goal, largely thanks to his defence playing well. White notched a second mid-way through the second half, as he rose unmarked to head home Josh Stanbury's corner.

A third goal was needed to finally subdue the visitors and skipper Davon Friend, in the 75th minute, duly supplied it. Penberthy was called upon to make a couple of good saves as the game came to a successful end for his team.

CHAGFORD Reseves completed a league double over the division's bottom club, with an emphatic result in Tiverton.

All the visitors' goals came from two of the youngest Chagford players. Liam O'Connell bagged a hat-trick to take his season's tally to seven and fellow teenager, Sebastian Loram, netted the other Chagford goals.
