THE entrants for the former captains' competition at Hurdwick Golf Club on Friday were all complimentary to the course and its staff for the excellent condition of the course and the first class hospitality. 

Most players had good, steady scoring rounds but the 2015 winner was Rodney Browne with a credible score of 37 Stableford points.
