MOUNT Kelly pupils scored some great successes in the finals of the National Schools Trampolining com-petition, which were held in Wigan.

The Mount Kelly U11s girls’ team consisting of Daisy Heal, Hattie Heal and Eleanor Smith won bronze. Daisy also qualified through as an individual competitor and gained a commendable sixth place in the U11 girls’ novice category.

The following day Madison Jones competed at Bath University in the regional team qualifiers. She did superbly and came first winning gold which then gave her immediate selection into the SW Squad by British Gymnastics.  She will be competing for the South West in Birmingham at the end of May.
