SAINT Peter’s Primary School, Tavistock represented West Devon Schools in the County Sportshall finals at The Life Centre, Plymouth on February 23.

With a total of 17 schools from all over Devon, the competition, organised by OCRA, was fierce and athletes had to perform to their best ability to score top points.

The pupils of St Peter’s Primary did just that. The boys’ team won the standing long jump, the standing triple jump and the vertical jump. They also came third in the six lap parlauf relay.

The girls also won the vertical jump, came second in the standing long jump and second in the over/ under relay. This performance won them third place and the bronze medals.

Mhairi McCall from OCRA congratulated St Peter’s on such an excellent effort.
