Barton v Lewdown firsts

LEWDOWN firsts travelled to Barton with the visitors being asked to bat on a tough wicket.

They scored 155 all out with Tallan Burns 28 not out and M Jordan 21.

Lewdown bowlers started well with Johan Wessels getting two early wickets. There was also a wicket each for Phil Yeo, Dave Ball and M Jordan as Barton posted 55 for 5 at tea. With an early wicket after the break Lewdown looked  in a good  position to win the game but Barton came fighting back and won the game by four wickets.
