THE Tavistock Sir Francis Drake Bowling Club held its Short Mat Spring Tournament on Sunday.

Twelve teams from across Devon and Cornwall took part with £375 being raised for the club from the day.

The winners were The Riversiders from Launceston (John Hodnett, Ann Head, Marion Bartlett and Led Horrell) and the runners-up were from Tothill in Plymouth (Mollie Jones, Tony Wilkins Jack Hudson and John Sloane)
