THE Tavistock Sir Francis Drake Bowling Club held its Short Mat Spring tournament on Sunday.

Twelve teams took part from across Devon and Cornwall. The winning team was Bishopsteignton consisting of Brian Lawerence, Barbara Lawerence, Sheila Rixon and Pauline Harris.  The runners-up were Heidi Kerr, Trevor Scull, Hazel Treleaven and Richard Kerr from Tothill.
