YELVERTON Bohemians Cricket Club preparations for the 2015 season are well underway with their pre-season indoor net sessions taking place on Sundays.

The net sessions are being held at the ECB funded Sports Hall facility at Torbridge High School, Miller Way, Estover, Plymouth from 3pm to 5pm every Sunday until April.

This ambitious, but friendly and family orientated club, welcomes new players of all abilities for their four weekend XIs and in particular players with league cricket experience.

The club plays its home fixtures at the picturesque Langton Park ground located within the Dartmoor National Park.  

The club runs three Devon Cricket League XIs on Saturdays along with a Sunday XI.  As well as weekend league cricket, the club offers a full list of friendly fixtures, a Midweek Evening League XI and also a thriving Colts section for girls and boys aged from U7s to U15s.  

The club had a successful 2014 season with the first and third senior XIs securing runners-up spots in their respective divisions, but were eclipsed by the Colts teams with each age group winning some silverware — the U11s securing a league and cup 'double'; the U13s were Devon Cup runners up, league cup winners and league runners-up and the U15s were joint league winners.

New social members are also welcome.
