BERE ALSTON played into a glaring sun with St Teath booting the ball long.

Saints took the lead when a clearance was smashed through a load of players to score. Five minutes later Saint's were awarded a penalty. Bere keeper Mark Webber threw himself to the right turning the ball onto the post and dived onto the loose ball.

Bere equalised when Ben Stephens ran onto a ball to smash home past an advancing keeper.

James Follett missed a sitter when it shot passed Saint's keeper but went past a post.

Bere Alston completely controlled the second half with Saint's defending in depth and goal keeper Josh Grills performing heroics diving all over the place to deny Ross Hann, James Baker and Alex Lowe. When he was beaten the upright twice and crossbar came to his rescue.

Bere keeper Mark Webber was called into action twice in the last ten minutes with two brave saves to onrushing players.
