THE winner of the Yelverton Golf Club ladies silver division with 38 points was Barbara Collier; second was Margaret Flanagan with 34 and third Toni Jones on 33. The bronze division was won by Adeline Jones on 36 pts; second was Verna Isaac on 35 and third Kay Creaven on 34.

In the Peugeot Coronation foursomes qualifier the winners were Pat Taylor and Barbara Collier with 33 points who now go forward to the regional final at Bristol and Clifton on August 2.

In the Devon County VLGA Killard Levy qualifier the winners on the back nine with 26 points were Ray Bovingdon and Verna Isaac; second with 26 were Annette Sweeney and Mair Preston-Jones.

The winners will represent Yelverton at the county final at Sidmouth in September.
