THERE was the usual good turnout from Okehampton Running Club for Bideford AAC's Bideford 10k race – a fast flat course over the old bridge and along the Tarka Trail – ideal for those chasing a fast time.

There were some good results for ORC with Andy Vallance finishing in seventh place in a competitive field of more than 500. Andy together with Andrew Vernon and Chris Turner came fourth in the team category, Janet White won the prize for third FV60 and Charlotte Radnor was fourth senior female.
