JUNIOR boxer  Aiden Whiting from Tavistock ABC represented Devon against Bristol and Somerset at Broad Plain in Bristol on September 17 for the first divisional match of the season.

Aiden fought a very good strong opponent in Nile Thomas from Barton Hill ABC.

The bout was non- stop action from start to finish and was very close and it could have gone either way. Unfortunately for Aiden he did not get the decision and lost on a split decision.

His dad, Lee Whiting told the Times: ‘Aiden never stopes smiling and always gives it 100% and good things are coming his way as he shows what a champion is all about.’
