TWO brothers from Tavistock College have represented their country in the European Skateboarding finals in Sevilla, Spain, last week.

Aaron Jago, age 16 and in the  16-21 age group, came ninth, just missing the final eight.  He scored the highest number of points for one trick on technical ability, and gained valuable experience from the event overall.

Despite spraining his ankle in the first heat and being carried off to the ambulance by paramedics, his brother Elliot, age 13, did enough to qualify for the final eight of the competition and was the only athlete from the UK in the U15s' final.

Elliot achieve sixth place overall despite his injury, with the help of strapping, freeze spray and painkillers.

The boys were the only brothers in the competition and their family and the college is proud of them.
