OKEHAMPTON Tennis Club held its junior tournament recently in the glorious sunshine.

Ninety competitors took part and more than 60 matches were played in a competitive but enjoyable event for all who took part.

A round robin was played within each age group with the top two players going through to play a final.

Results: Nine and under girl’s winner, Erin Read; runner-up, Eleanor Pearce. 9 and under boys, Rudy Simmons; runner-up, Arthur Hicks. 10 and under girls Marla Richards; runner-up Teddie Kronschnabl. 10 and under boys Toby Read; runner-up Ben Webster. 12 and under girls Rosie Parker, runner-up Lucy Cross. 12 and boys winner Toby Page; runner-up Tom Cunnington.
