Paws at the ready as popular dog show returns!

Dog lovers across Devon are invited to enjoy a fabulous day of fun, as Margaret Green Animal Rescue’s Novelty Dog Show returns on Sunday June 7.

Taking place at the charity’s Wingletang Rescue and Rehoming Centre near Tavistock (PL19 0LF), the event promises a great day out for dog owners, families and animal enthusiasts alike — all while raising funds for vulnerable animals in need.

From Most Handsome Dog to The Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home and Waggiest Tail, there will be a variety of light-hearted classes for your four-legged friends to enter, costing just £2 each.

You can also enjoy refreshments, browse pre-loved dog items, and take part in a raffle and tombola throughout the day.

Entry costs £3 per person, with gates opening at 11am and classes beginning shortly afterwards. There is no need to register in advance - simply turn up on the day and enjoy a packed programme of classes galore, tasty treats and community spirit.

Every entry, purchase and donation will support the charity’s work in caring for cats and dogs who deserve a second chance at happiness.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue provides a safe haven for animals who have become homeless due to changing circumstances, as well as those who have suffered neglect, mistreatment or abandonment. Every animal in their care is treated with kindness, compassion and respect.
